Configure the PC (For Windows 95/98/Millennium):
 
1. Click on the Start Button.
 
2. Click on Settings.
 
3. Click on Control Panel
 


 

4. Double-click on the Network Icon. This will open up a Network Connections Window.
 


 

5. Scroll down until you find one that says TCP/IP -> (network card name).
 
6. Highlight the one that our modem is plugged into.

Note: Usually you will have two TCP/IP listings. One will say Dial-up after it. You want the other one.
 

7. Click the Properties button. This will open a TCP/IP Properties Window.
 


 

8. Click on the Obtain an IP address automatically radio button.
 


 

10. Click on the Gateway Tab.

11. Select and remove any IP Gateway addresses that are listed under Installed Gateways
 


 

17. Click OK to close the TCP/IP Setting Window.
 
18. Click OK to close the Networking Window.
 
19. Your computer will then copy some files and then ask you to reboot your computer.

Note: You may need to provide your Windows 95 / 98 CD.
 

20. Click on the Yes button to reboot your computer.
 
21. You are done
