Configure the PC (For Windows 95/98/Millennium): |
| 1. Click on the Start Button.
|
| 2. Click on Settings. |
| 3. Click on
Control Panel |
|
|
| 4. Double-click on the
Network Icon. This will open up a Network
Connections Window. |
|
|
| 5. Scroll down until you find one
that says TCP/IP -> (network card name). |
| 6. Highlight the one that our modem
is plugged into.
Note: Usually you
will have two TCP/IP listings. One will say Dial-up after it. You want
the other one. |
| 7. Click the
Properties button. This will open a TCP/IP Properties Window.

|
| 8. Click on the
Obtain an IP address automatically radio button. |
|
|
| 10. Click on the Gateway Tab.
11. Select and remove any IP Gateway
addresses that are listed under Installed Gateways |
|
|
| 17. Click
OK to close the TCP/IP
Setting Window. |
| 18. Click OK
to close the Networking Window. |
| 19. Your computer will then copy some
files and then ask you to reboot your computer.
Note: You may need to provide your Windows 95 / 98 CD. |
| 20. Click on the Yes button to reboot your computer. |
