How to use Ad-Aware

1. Go to your desktop. Look for the icon below. Double-click on it to open program.

2. Look for the option: Check for updates now  ( bottom, right-hand corner) above the Start button

3. Click the Connect button

4. A window will open similar to the one below. If there are updates, install them, then click the Finish button. If there are no updates at this time, just click the Finish button.

Note: You should now be back to the main screen 5. Click on the Start button which can be found in the bottom right-hand corner.

6. Click the Next button in the bottom right-hand corner.

Note: Ad-aware will start to scan your files. 7. When scanning is complete click the Next button

8. Right-click on one of the items and choose 'Select All Objects'  (6th options from the top)     Make sure all of the check boxes are check, then click on the Next button

9. Click the OK button. Ad-aware will first quarantine files, then delete them. When complete, Ad-aware will take you back to the start page.

10. You may now exit out of this program. Your PC is free of all unwanted adware Note: We recommend you run this program at least once a month.
