1.  Close email program.
  Open Norton product

 Find the link or button: Options
 
 


 
3.

 Look for and click on Norton Anti Virus (with Norton Internet Security)
 Look for and click on Internet, then Email.
 The email scanning page is what you are looking for.
 Ask customer to unclick Scan incoming Email AND Scan outgoing Email
 Click the OK button at the bottom
 
 


 
4.  Screen should now say Email Scanning off. 
 
 


 
5.

 Close Norton and open email program.
 
  Note: It is okay to turn off this feature because we scan all incoming and outgoing mail on our server. Our customers email use is protected by us. However,  you still need protection for web use.
