How To Remove the Blaster Worm:

1. Go to http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/FixBlast.exe
2. Save this file to your Desktop.
3. Shut down your computer
4. Turn you computer on and start tapping the F8 key.
5. A menu will appear and choose Safe Mode with Networking. This will cause your computer to boot into Safe Mode.
6. A dialog box will appear letting you know you are in safe mode. Just click the OK button.
7. On your desktop double click on the FixBlast.exe icon. This will cause the program to scan your entire hard drive for the Blaster worm and then it will remove it.
8. When it's finished it will ask you to download the lastest patch for the virus. Say Yes and download and install the patch.
9. Reboot your computer.
10. Your done.
